Version 9.11.20 - M3: Equipment and Location Management

This post details changes specific to Module 3, Equipment and Location Management.

Equipment definition. New. A new field has been added under the general tab.

  • Final disposition location: This field was added to indicate where the equipment is stored or sent at the end of its useful life. This information can be added as a search results column.
  • Manufacturer’s recommended calibration frequency: This text field is used to enter the manufacturer recommended time between calibrations. This information can be added as a search results column.
  • Warranty cost and phone fields: This text field was added to enter the warranty cost and the phone number to call in case repair/maintenance is required during the warranty period. The cost information can be added as a search results column.
  • Service Contract cost and phone fields: This text field was added to enter the service contract cost and the phone number to call in case repair/maintenance is required while under a service contract. The cost information can be added as a search results column.

Equipment definition. Improvement. It is now possible to link equipment to departments/roles which do not have assignation rights.

Equipment search. Improvement. It is now possible to perform a search with the main department which englobes all the roles linked to it, even if the main department does not have assignation rights. All the departments/roles are now listed in the dept search field.
