General - Home page: Improvement. A system configuration has been added to have the possibility to remove the count of readings to authorize on the homepage. If it is activated, a link leads to the readings to authorize screen.

General - Messaging: New. In the message search screen, the body of the message is no longer displayed after the title.

General - Departments and roles: Bug fix. Saving a role no longer send readings in double.

Version 11.05.70

General - Departments and roles: Improvement. Sending readings through the role edit screen has been improved. It is no longer possible to send readings twice in the role edit screen.

General: Improvement. A change of nomenclature is made when the assignment is shared to the entire role. "Shared" appears in the assignation.

General - Departments and roles: Improvement. It is not possible to reactivate a role if the department is inactive.

General - Departments and roles: Bug fix. It is now possible to inactivate a role if all the users of this role are inactive.

General - Departments and roles: Bug fix. It is now possible to inactivate a role that would be selected in an inactive ticket category status.

General - Messaging: Improvement. Nomenclature adjustment in the message display page. To exit the page and return to the list of received messages, the button has been renamed "Exit".

General - Messaging: Improvement. If a department is chosen for a message, all the roles associated with it will be selected.

General - Messaging: Bug fix. Omni-Assistant files or documents attached to a message or bulletin board can now be opened.

General - Messaging: Bug fix. The selection of a role as recipient of a message is now functional. Messages are sent only to members of the selected role.

General - E-forms: Improvement. A user with modification rights on a form category can now access it via the Settings / General menu.

General - E-forms: Bug fix. A submitted electronic form now displays the correct user information and the date of submission.

General - E-forms: Bug fix. The "Close" button is now functional in the form modal.

General - E-forms: Bug fix. The user lists are presented in alphabetical order in the forms.

General - Home page: New. When the document search page is defined as the home page, the content search filters (indexing) appear if the license is activated (billable option).

General - Home page: Improvement. The Home Page loading performance has been improved.

General - Home page: Improvement. On the home page, the download time for information in the "Documents" section has been improved.

General - Home page: Improvement. The supervision box remains open even if there are no readings or tickets to supervise.

General - Document extraction: Improvement. It is now possible to separate the documents by site and to have the analysis registry in a separate file.

General - Video notifications: New. New videos available will be sent according to user permissions (only to administrators, to all users, only to supervisors, etc.)

General - User management: New. In the user profile, new check boxes have been added to define level 1 support, update notifications, and security contact.

General - User management: Improvement. Clarification of the "default password" use has been provided with an explanatory field.

General - Training database: New. "Training DB' has been added in the red banner at the bottom of the training databases screen.

General - Home Page: New. It is now possible to switch the home page's format: standard, or a new format that directly displays the document quick-search.

 

General - Home Page: Improvement. There are changes in the nomenclature so the departments / roles appear in the "task" section of the home page.

General - Home Page: Improvement. The display of M9 trainings / quizzes results on the user's home page is now faster.

General - Home Page: Improvement. When a observation request is received by a user, it will be visible in the "Documents and LMS" box, in the "Observations to complete" section.

General - Messaging: Improvement. Bulletin board messages are displayed until their end date. Bulletin board messages, sent or received, remain accessible to users even past their end date.

General - Messaging: Improvement. Display patterns of bulletin board messages have been adjusted. The notion of "processed" has been added to bulletin board messages.

 

General - Messaging: Improvement. The nomenclature of bulletin board messages has been modified in the search filters of the inbox as well as the outbox.

General - Messaging: Improvement. When a ticket linked to a message is open, upon closing the ticket, the user is redirected to the message.

General - Messaging: Bug fix. A document from the document management module (M2) can be attached to a message sent.

General - Messaging: Improvement. It is no longer possible to send a message to an inactive department or role. All the available departments or roles are active. Also, only departments / roles with assignations or members can be selected as sendees when sending messages.

General - Messaging: Improvement. In the "Sent to" section of a message, the users list is displayed by alphabetical order.

General - Messaging: Bug fix. The nomenclature in the outbox pages has been adjusted.

General - Messaging: Improvement. Users that only have access to document or analysis search cannot receive messages (bulletin board messages, invididual messages, or messages sent to a role).

General - User Dashboard: Improvement. In the competencies section of the user dashboard, when a competency has a name that is too long to be displayed in its entirety, it is possible to mouse over it to have the complete title.

General - User Dashboard: Bug fix. The calculation of scores is done correctly when readings and trainings / quizzes are calculated together.

General - Department and role management: New. Users cannot be assigned to departments anymore.

 

General - Department and role management: Improvement. Only users that correspond to the address of the department, are listed for associated roles.

General - Department and role management: Improvement. The name of the department has been added to the header of the role edit screen and in the readings assignation screen.

 

General - Department and roles management: Improvement. The department and role abbreviations are now included in the department and role Excel export.

General - User Management: New. New filters have been added to the users search: "No connection since", "Use Active Directory", and "Default Password".

General - User Management: Improvement. It is now possible to search for users using the department filter. The search results will include all the members of roles associated to the department. A "Select All" choice has been added to the addresses filter in the users search screen.

 

General - User Management: Bug fix. User search keeps the preference of the address filter for users that have an English profile.

General - Permissions management: New. An "HR User" permission has been added to the user profile access level. It allows the user that is not an administrator to manage users, departments and roles.

 

General - Permissions Management: Bug fix. Permissions on forms have been correctly renamed.

General - User Management: Improvement. Nomenclature in the user profile has been adjusted for pictures of the signature, of the initials and the profile.

General - User Management: Improvement. In the user's profile, in the "Preferences" section, the workdays are checked and saved automatically when creating a profile. The connection report thus lists the correct results after the first connection.

General - Guest Management: Improvement. It is now possible to choose more than one address by default in the guest definition.

 

General - Guest Management: Bug fix. The name of guest now displays correctly in the search results.

General - Quick-search fields: Improvement. It is now possible to choose which quick-search fields are displayed on top of the Omni-Assistant screen through the system configuration.

 

General - Quick-search fields: Improvement. Users can now choose which quick-search fields are displayed on top of their Omni-Assistant page through their user's profile.

General - Search screens: Bug fix. In the search screens, the "Clear" button keeps the date format intact.

General - Companies: New. An "Identifier" field has been added to the company edit screen.

General - Companies: Improvement. All companies previously defined using modules M6 and M7 are now transferred in the General module.

General - Companies: Improvement. A company can be used as a supplier and/or as a manufacturer in the product search, inventory search, transaction search, product in use search as well as orders.

General - Contact and Company search: Improvement. A "Select all" choice has been added to the list of "Company Types".

General - Contact search: Improvement. Nomenclature of the "General" section in the contact search has been changed.

General - Products: New. The supplier catalog number has been added to the advanced product search. This information is also added to the Excel export.

General - Products: New. Information on the inventory state has been added to the advanced product search.

General - Products: New. In the product search, a red exclamation mark has been added beside the product's name to indicate that it is back order.

General - Products: New. Information on the supplier has been added to the product file.

General - Products: New. An "Order Threshold" field has been added to the product search filters.

General - Products: New. Two storage fields have been added to the product search. One concerns the "storage address" and the other, the "stockroom" itself.

General - Products: Bug fix. The advanced product search displays supplier and manufacturer information.

General - Products: Improvement. The "With minimum" search filter has been removed from the products search screen. It has been replaced by "Order Threshold".

General - Products: Improvement. New filters have been added to the products search (search by format, supplier catalogue number, manufacturer).

General - Products: Improvement. An inactivated product can no longer be associated with a stockroom.

General - Daily report: Improvement. Concepts have been added to the daily report (documents to review, observations to complete), and layout adjustments have been made.

General - Daily Report: Improvement. Information in the "Control Points" section and the "Inspections and Audits" section have been added to better mirror the information available in the Omni-Assistant home page.

General - Daily Report: Improvement. Bulletin board now appears in the daily report sent by email.

General - Help Page: New. The Help page has been updated to display the new Omni-Assistant image.

General - Help Page: Improvement. Users will only see the instructions manuals of the licensed modules.

General - Contextual Help: New. In the Omni-Assistant document help section, links to videos have been added.

General - Video Notices: New. New videos that become available will be notified at the bottom of the Omni-Assistant screen.

 

General - Support: Improvement. Inactive system administrators will no longer appear in the "Level 1 support" section of the Omni-Assistant.

General - Contextual Help: New. A contextual help button has been created in the binder search and in the document edit screen.

General - Security Dashboard: New. The security dashboard has been added for system administrators. It provides an overview of configurations and parameters, for the security of, and around the Omni-Assistant.

 

This change log is a compilation of all changes made to the General section, between version 10.01.20 and 11.05.160.
