Version 10.01.20 - M2: Document Control and Policy Management

This post details changes specific to module 2, Document Control and Policy Management.

Simplified document search: Bug fix. The "Folder/Subfolder" filter in the simplified document search correctly displays results contained in the selected folder/subfolder.

Document management: Bug fix. Addition of an error management mechanism for public hyperlinks that don't work.

PDF Generator: Improvement / Bug fix. In order to eliminate the recurring issues related to PDF conversion, the PDF generator is removed and a “Controlled version Generator” is added.

The controlled version generator requires a PDF file. Therefore, the notion of an intermediate version has been added. It will be your responsibility to convert your Word document into PDF, to validate its content and to attach it as an intermediate version.

Once the intermediate version is attached, you will be able to use the controlled version generator which will apply header, footer, watermark and prevent printing as desired.

We are aware of that additional step, but it is the only permanent fix that will ensure the integrity of your original document.
